Which casting process should be used for our motor housing?

HPDC suits complex thin-wall repeat production; low-pressure or gravity casting supports different integrity and heat-treatment needs; sand casting suits larger or lower-volume frames. GX confirms the route only after reviewing geometry, material, machining and volume.

How do you prevent pores from appearing after CNC machining?

Critical machined and sealed zones are identified during DFM. Gate, overflow, venting, section transitions and machining stock are reviewed, then the agreed X-ray, CT, sectioning or leakage method is tied to acceptance.

Can GX supply the housing fully machined?

Yes, when the released drawing defines the stator bore, bearing and cover pilots, sealing faces, mounting datums, threads, surface finish and inspection responsibility.

Can a cast motor housing be supplied with a cooling jacket?

It can be evaluated as a project. Provide coolant, working and proof pressure, temperature, flow direction, joining method, cleanliness and allowable leak rate.

What controls stator-bore roundness after machining?

Casting stability, machining allowance, clamping force, datum selection and measurement after unclamping are reviewed together. The drawing must state the required roundness or cylindricity and measurement condition.

Can GX guarantee an IP rating for the housing alone?

No. The finished motor IP rating depends on the housing, end covers, shaft seal, connectors, fasteners and assembly. GX supplies housing features to the agreed drawing and test boundary.

What documents can be supplied with samples?

The project can include material evidence, dimensional reports, CMM results, roughness, coating, X-ray or leakage records and a marked drawing, as agreed at quotation.
