CNC Prototype Housing

6061-T6 billet reference with H6–H9 project-defined fits and Ra 0.8–3.2 μm critical surfaces for validation, low volume or pre-tooling builds.

Extruded Aluminum Housing

6063-T5 reference with constant cross-section and variable length; machined stator, cover and mounting datums use size-based 0.02–0.15 mm geometric-control bands.

Cast Motor Housing

ADC12/A356 aluminum or HT250 iron reference; 1.5–4.0 mm thin-wall aluminum review, CT4–CT8 die cast or CT8–CT12 sand cast by route.

Deep-Drawn / Stamped Housing

SPCC/SPCE or SUS304 reference with 0.5–2.0 mm wall and typical L/D ≤2.5; diameter, roundness, burr and coating limits fixed by drawing.

Can CNC prototypes be converted directly into die-cast production?

Not automatically. Draft, wall transitions, ribs, machining stock, datum access and material behavior must be redesigned and revalidated before tooling release.

Can GX coordinate the housing with magnets, stators or rotors?

Yes, GX can review the housing interfaces with confirmed magnetic and motor-component scope. Every supplied item and assembly operation must appear in the approved BOM.

Can GX supply waterproof motor housings?

GX can supply drawing-based waterproof housing features, but the target IP rating, seals, connectors, mating covers and complete-motor test must be defined by project.

Are aluminum, cast iron and plastic all standard GX products?

No. Aluminum and cast-iron routes are evaluated by drawing, process and project. Plastic housing capability must also be confirmed for the specific project and should not be assumed from this page.

What controls the change from sample to recurring production?

The released drawing and BOM, approved sample, tooling and fixture status, control plan, inspection methods, acceptance limits and packaging standard form the baseline.
